Supported Formats
Which image, video and document formats you can upload, and what each is converted to.
Stratos accepts common image, video and document formats and prepares them for reliable playback on your players.
Images

Videos are processed after upload so they play smoothly on the player. The file page shows the Playback format once processing finishes.
Documents and presentations

These are converted into pages or slides you can step through, or into a video. See Documents & Presentations.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Images, videos and PDFs: 500 MB per file.
- Office documents: 2 GB per file.
Not supported
Section titled “Not supported”Other formats are rejected with .ext files aren’t supported. Audio files can’t be uploaded at this time. Convert what you need into one of the formats above (for example, export a slide with audio as an MP4 video).
Choosing formats
Section titled “Choosing formats”- Photos and backgrounds: JPEG at your screen’s resolution.
- Logos and graphics: PNG or SVG.
- Motion: MP4 (H.264) is the most dependable.
- Slides and reports: import the presentation or PDF directly, which keeps text sharp.
- Web content: use a Web Page widget or a URL schedule instead of a file.
